1. Configure an AI provider — required
Said & Done uses your selected provider for meeting analysis, email intelligence, opportunity audits, client updates, and walkthrough context. These workflows cannot run until a supported credential is saved.
A workspace owner or admin opens Settings → AI & Transcription, chooses a provider and model, saves the credential, and runs the connection test. Provider usage is billed to your provider account, separately from your Said & Done subscription.
See the AI provider setup guide for detailed steps.
2. Bring in one real conversation
Choose the fastest path for the client work already in front of you:
- Upload a transcript to start without connecting another service.
- Connect Google or Microsoft Calendarto schedule the visible Said & Done Notetaker for eligible future meetings.
Calendar connection is optional. The Founder plan includes 20 native notetaker hours per month; additional use requires your approval.
Learn the difference between captured evidence, reviewed drafts, share links, and published client material in Core concepts.
3. Process and review the result
Open the meeting and choose Process. Review the summary, commitments, risks, sentiment, and suggested client match. AI output is a draft: confirm ownership, dates, and source evidence before sharing it or acting on it.
4. Add context when it becomes useful
These steps improve the connected workflow, but none is required for initial setup:
- Create clients and contacts to organize evidence and unlock portal publishing.
- Connect Gmail for read-only client-email intelligence.
- Create an Opportunity Audit from several related client conversations.
- Record walkthroughs and share them with client contacts.
- Connect GitHub when approved action items are ready for implementation handoff.
Optional Founder onboarding and support
The Founder plan includes up to three internal users in one workspace, including the owner. Notetaker, storage, and other usage quotas are workspace-wide. AI credentials and provider usage belong to the workspace and are billed by the provider separately.
You can sign up and start self-serve without a sales call. The Founder plan also includes one optional 45-minute onboarding session. If you use it, bring a representative client conversation and your preferred AI-provider credential so the session can end with a real processed result.
Founder support responds within one business day, Monday through Friday. Never send API keys or OAuth tokens in a support message.
