Turn captured activity into reviewed time

Time tracking collects signals, proposes work segments, and keeps a human review step before client reporting or billing.

Signals are not approved time

Browser, code, calendar, meeting, and other configured activity can contribute raw signals. Said & Done infers possible work segments from those signals, but captured activity is not billable or client-visible until reviewed according to your process.

Review workflow

  1. Configure approved capture sources and client attribution rules in Time Settings.
  2. Open Time → Review and inspect the proposed client, duration, activity, and evidence.
  3. Correct the client and billing treatment when the inference is wrong.
  4. Approve, edit, or reject the segment.
  5. Use Time Reports to review the billing-cycle summary before external use.

Privacy and rounding

  • Worker-private raw evidence remains separate from the client-facing approved result.
  • Workspace owners and admins manage shared billing-rounding settings.
  • Rounding changes the reported treatment of approved time; it does not alter the underlying captured duration.
  • Review attribution rules regularly when repositories, domains, or client engagements change.
